Thank you for visiting naturesthreads’ website – I do hope you find the website easy to navigate.
Let me tell you a little about myself – I am a Christian. I love people and I love helping people and I love textiles – namely fabrics and yarns!!
I was a swimming teacher for many years – and enjoyed teaching both adults andf children to swim.
I now run a fabric shop and enjoy teaching adults and children to sew & knit!!
I stock only natural fibres - patchwork fabric in cottons and cotton flannels and dressmaking fabrics in cottons- linens - corduroys - jerseys - chambrays and denims!!
I will again soon be stocking yarns - also natural fibres! I also have threads and patterns - and notions - I run small and friendly workshops - covering general sewing as well and patchwork and dress making.
It is so much fun and I get to meet and spend time with so many lovely people!
Naturesthreads is situated in an old hop kiln in Crookham village – the hop kiln backs on to a large field. I and my customers enjoy watching the wildlife – Red Kites- Deer- foxes- badgers- and a multitude of different birds.
There is all day free parking at the kiln - people often leave the car here and walk up to the delightful coffee shop which serves delicious lunches and teas- ( only 5 minutes by shankses pony) Crookham village is surrounded by a network of lovely footpaths and fields and just around the corner is the Basingstoke canal- great for rural walks with or without dogs!!
I hope you have enjoyed this page and hope that you might come and visit me sometime - bring some friends and make a day of it!!
